CMA Final Decision: Supply of Vet Services for Household Pets

In March 2026, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) published its final decision following its market investigation into the supply of veterinary services for household pets in the UK. The investigation looked at large veterinary group consolidation, pricing transparency, and the current regulatory framework, and has resulted in a package of remedies that vet businesses will need to comply with over the coming months.
